An ancient Japanese legend promises that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish by a crane. In recent years, the crane has become a symbol of peace. Asia Pacific Cultural Center will attempt to fold 1,000 paper cranes during First Night. Visitors are urged to help us accomplish this feat! We will be teaching everyone how to fold the origami cranes. The cranes will become part of a permanent exhibit at the cultural center. Fold a crane and make a wish for the New Year!
